OUTRUN014 comes from Parisian-based bassist and producer Westbrook. If you’re familiar with Olivier Azémar’s modern funk alias, your ears may have been blessed by his 7-inch release on the pioneering Omega Supreme Records. Or maybe you’ve heard his collaborative, funk-influenced house and footwork project, Cee-O-Funk. Either way, you’re in for a treat. On the B-side, Westbrook slows it down with a spaced out funk odyssey that is Sun King. An Intergalactic trip that any fan of funk will be happy to embark on.
